About Us

This website was setup in April 2003 to try and convey the Beauty and Tranquillity of this small seaside holiday village, located in Ceredigion, West Wales to anyone in the world who has access to the World Wide Web.

Hopefully it will encourage visitors to come and visit Llangrannog and find out that it is even better than the Photographs show, also for those who  were born or brought up in the area, to keep in touch with 'home'.

The site will be updated on a regular basis with information, news and photographs, but we do lack a village representative, to keep us posted with up to date news and information. If anyone living in the village could help with this task, we would be grateful. Please contact Bryan .

We are grateful to 'Beryl' in Angorfa, 'Peter' in Siop Glynafon, 'Roy' in Arfryn, 'Dai Thomas' and 'Tivy Side Advertiser' on line, for information to enable us to setup and maintain this website.

We are not an 'official' Community website and make no charges for advertising Services, Businesses and Accommodation.

If anyone who was either born or previous generations of their family were born in Llangrannog and would like any photographs of the family home, we can e-mail these to you on request. Please contact Bryan for more information. There may be a delay of several weeks in obtaining photographs as we live in South Devon and can only obtain photographs during one of our visits to Llangrannog.

Most of the Photographs on this site have been taken using an early Kodak DC215 Digital Camera, however the most recent pictures such as the one of Carreg Bica on our Home Page have been taken using a Kodak Z740 Digital Zoom.

The webmaster and designer of this site is Bryan Davies, who was born in Llangrannog in 1946, the family home being Glynafon Stores, educated in Pontgarreg and Cardigan schools and who now lives in South Devon. (Hopefully returning home to Wales in 2008 after retirement)

The idea for this website has been around for a couple of years, but came to fruition after completing a Diploma in Web Design in 2003.

We hope that you have enjoyed visiting

Bryan Davies
